My dad passed away at the end of November last year, and I am finding that he saved everything for the past ninety-one years. Case in point, one purchase order for a 1964 Plymouth Fury. I learned to drive in this car, push button automatic transmission and all. I wish we still had it.

That’s really cool. Hard to imagine AC being an option that added nearly 20% to the price of the car.

That surprised me too. But it was an amazing AC unit. I can remember driving across Arizona in July with ice forming on the vents and chunks of frost blowing out of it.

I am old enough to remember when dads ordered cars - case in point, a ‘69 Impala. Black vinyl interior and no A/C. Damn he was cheap - and try to get a date during the summer when you’re driving that!

Sorry for your loss, but neat momentos of memories past.
